Maria Olon Tsaroucha pioneers research into philosophical systems exploring human nature, personal development, and consciousness. She introduces the groundbreaking Supraconscious You theory, addressing the fundamental question “Who am I?” alongside the Perceptual Acting and Directing theory, a transformative method for actors. A prodigious writer since her youth, Tsaroucha published her first book at just thirteen, earning acclaim as Greece’s youngest author. She showcased her work at TEDXAUEB with the performance “Knowing Thyself: The Eternal Process.” Passionate about aiding vulnerable communities, she focuses on assisting women and children affected by conflict. She holds esteemed positions, including founding membership in the Actor’s Society of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, honorary membership in the Hellenic Physics Association, member of the International Society of Female Professional Women, member of the Advisory Futurist Media and Arts Board of Lifeboat foundation, founding member of Μentoria initiative in Greece and roles within various international organizations promoting women’s professional advancement and humanitarian initiatives. Tsaroucha played a pivotal role in developing the Theatrical Education Department at AKMI, a leading European educational institution, and provides strategic consultation for artistic institutes globally. the film adaptation of the Supraconscious trilogy embarks on a futuristic journey rooted in her groundbreaking book.
“The moment of clarity came when I noticed the striking parallels between Method acting and quantum theory. Delving into both theoretical and experiential realms, I embarked on a quest to explore the intricate connections between acting, neuroscience energy, and the psyche. From the interaction between actors to their engagement with the audience, every aspect demanded scrutiny.
My research seeks to scientifically validate the phenomenon of the actor’s immersion into character as a form of quantum entanglement. I investigate how actors serve as conduits, transmitting light from the stage to the audience. Time and space blur as actors inhabit alternate selves, observing their actions from an external perspective. Within movement lies stillness, and within stillness, movement—an enigma that mirrors the rapidity of thought.
Furthermore, I contemplate the role of matter in perception, as well as the existence of a sixth sense beyond conventional perception. This exploration extends to the existential realm, framing lived experiences within the context of a unified whole.
Such understanding, I believe, holds the key to unraveling the perennial question of identity: “Who am I?”
In this pursuit, the philosophy of quantum physics emerges as a fundamental framework, permeating every facet of human existence. Onstage, actors navigate the duality of human and performer, embodying characters while retaining their essential selves.
Yet, amidst these inquiries, a fundamental query lingers:
Can human experience be captured in a mathematical equation?
And if so, could such an equation ever truly encapsulate the essence of consciousness?
It was this realization that illuminated the essence of art as our conduit to explore the vast dimensions of existence.”
